I just got a $285.00 ticket for my tint and I don't want to pay another fine. So now I want to remove it, just the 2 front sides. Anybody here know how? Well actually I do know how but what kind of spray do I use to get out all the left-over adhesive. Thanks

The way pro tint shops do it is to soak the window on the tint side and put a trash bag (soaked also) over the tint and leave it in the sun til the tint just rolls off adhesive and all.

I remember reading here of a few other people in the same situation as you. Aparently you can peel it by hand but it takes a long time and isn't fun. I don't think you should try using anything sharp to scrape it with.

It will peel off but it is a pain in the ass. Use a razor blade and start the tint at the corner. Pull it very slowly and keep spaying either goo-gone, or vinager (sp) onto the window where it is peeling. Don't use the razor blade on the back window because of the rear defroster!! Good luck and it is not fun but i was in the same situation with the window and tickets!!!!

Take it to a shop and see what they charge. I've known people who have removed tint in other cars- NOT FUN! Better to pay maybe $50 to get it removed than mess up your window and pay for a repair/replacement.
