I am planing on getting some 19s for my 03 celica
but im wondering what kind of lowering springs or coilover i need to get too... please anyone help!

I would say go with a good set of coilovers. That way the ride height is adjustable. thumbsup

I am, with Pirelli p7000s. Tires are $140 a piece at the best price I could find. And I need new ones. thumbsdown

Got a Blitz front and Kaminari sides/rear (not in pic yet). No suspension mods at all, though. Rides lower with the bodykit, but higher with the rims. Works out sharply.

I think if you get 19' rims you don't have to lower your car.Or you not be able to turn your front weels.

so most of you think i wont have to lower it then?? cool saves money! thumbsup
I just thought i would ask becuase when i had my integra it
had lowering springs on it and when i put on 18s it was way high and it looked funny, so i had to go and buy coilovers.

I have a set of 19 inch Enkei's with 215/35/19 Yokohama Parada's. The suspension is TRD springs with KYB AGX adjustable struts. I have no rubbing at all even when going from "lock to lock." You will need to lower it though...doesnt look good at all without doing that. The ride quality is pretty good...I was actually VERY surprised because that was one of my biggest concerns...but then again I am in Florida and we have good roads where I am located. I suggest getting a set of rims with a lip because when a wheel has a lip it tends to make it look smaller...in my opinion 19's without a lip look too big on the Celica...but when they do have a lip they look great. I also have a set of moderately lightweght 17's that I use when I plan on doing any overly aggressive driving...19's look great when you get the right kind but they will hurt you in acceleration because of the larger rolling diameter over stock and because 19's tend to be heavier than stock and 17's. But if appearance is your only concern then go for it. Sorry for the long post...just trying to cover all the bases smile
