people with hotshot headers

im getting ready to install them and i want to know the best way to go about this. ive gotten advise that i should take the valve cover off and go through the top. some peole said that the cut some bracket? also what is the correct torque sequence and torque ratings. id like to do it right rather than just wing it. thumbsup thanks
