well honestly all jl's hit hard but i'd say w6 and up w7's but i've had w0 and w3's and have hit hard but go with w6 or w7 dvc and get 2 identical amps then run the amps one to each voice coil(bridged) could look into jl500.1 or kicker makes good amps too but just make sure the box is built to recommend size not min requirments u'll be lot happier

If your going for SP get the JL W7. Honestly they all hit hard yes the W7 hits a bit harder then the w6.

id would murder someone to get a w7 thumbsup

but my friendw ho has a celi. just upgraded his w3v1. with new w3v3. . both 12's .. and they hit very very very hard and they are in a sealed box. he cranks the hell out of it and then pound but its kinda not pleasing after a while. if you want pleasue and boom with quaility. . go for the 7. . you wont regret it .. . he is using a 500/1 also to run the w3v2. . i also have 2 500/1's each for a single 10w7

It depends if you take the time to build a enclosure for it that is well built and matches the sub well. If your gonna just thow it in a the jl box than dont expect much...
