Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior New Wing, but no pics yet...

I received my APR GTC 200 from Isaac yesterday and installed it this morning and all i gotta say is . It is so freaking lite that the stock wing feels heavier. The installation manual that came with it was for a double decker wing, but you could still see where some of the parts went. It only took me an hour to figure it out . The wing fits flush with the tail lights, so it doesn't stick out. And the wing sits higher than stock so now I can see in the middle, however, now I can't see through the top of the rear window. But I don't think that it'll be a problem. Installing it was a walk in the park. You just unsnap the rear trunk plastic and remove the four nutt/washers and the stock wing is ready to come off. But one of the nutts fell through the gap in the frame , so it's pretty much stuck there. Oh, and don't forget to remove the small screw in the rear handle. When I was installing it I noticed a small gap between the trunk and the pedalstals before the four nutts that attach it to the trunk were tightened , so I started to freak out that I was gonna have a gap there, but after everything was tightened up, it went away, so I was worried for nothing . It looks so good on a black celi that I almost creamed in my pants after I stepped back saw it on my car . Man, I sure wish I had a digi cam, but my dads birthday party is tomorrow, so it'll be a good excuse to buy him one, or should I say buy myself one . I'll see how tomorrow turns out. BTW a million thanks to Isaac for the wing and his kick ass service.
