AEM CAI SmOg TesT

hey if i have an AEM CAI on my celi, it won't pass smog test right??

for those with CAI's do you guys take it off and put back ur stock air box on every two years when ur car needs a smog test?

is this easy to do??

i just put my CAI on last night, it was crazy i dont think ill have enough energy to put the stock box back on

it seems like this question is asked every 3 days. the aem cai has carb digits on them. well at least, mine does. i passed smog with my intake. my carb digits are found on near the end of the pipe that closest to the end that goes to the throttle body.

When I bought mine they were still getting CARB approval. I will have to call them and get the EO number.

new cars only need thier first smog test after 4 years, or was it 6 ? im pretty sure that they get to skip the first few year though...
