Has anyone had a problem with the Carbon Fiber trunk garnish fitment and function?
After trying in mine...the keyhole was slightly off...and the handle would not have enough travel to pull the cable to open the hatch...I had to crawl in the back to open the hatch.
I put the OEM one back...I would rather have carbon fiber though!

You need to align the keyhole while you tighten the screws for attachment...

This is an exact mold of the stock trunk garnish, so the size and shape are identical

look at backside of your trunk as you are installing performing the installation, and you will see how to tighten or loosen the grip of your lock control cable for the outside handle. Just like the cable in a clutch, after time the trunk's outside lock control cable will get more and more play to it and will have to be tightened again. Use a Phillips screwdriver to adjust the sensitivity of the of this cable slightly and it will feel as it did when you first drove off the dealership's lot
