i've been trying to figure this out, but i cant seem to figure out how to remove the shift knob from the manual cars, i saw how to do it for the auto somewhere in this site, but not for the manuals, anyone know how!!

You mean the actually knob part you hold in your hand? That you just turn counter clockwise. If your talking about the peice thats around it, take your nob and boot off, and then grab the console near your window switches and tug up, it should pop right out.

DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN WHEN YOU PUT IT BACK ON It will push the top up and f it up.

takes a little bit of effort if it's the first time. but like they said earlier, don't over tighten it when putting it back on.

Well is it a stock knob? If it's not then it requires a whole different approach to taking it off. If it is, it should look like a black plastic ball looking thing with numbers 1 2 3 4 5 R written on it. I'm assuming you have GT since that's what it says in your information.
