Just finished installing my Injen Short Ram intake! The instructions would be more useful as toilet paper but even with no (I repeat NO) automotive skills whatsoever I managed to pull it off. I do have two quick questions...There is a left over blue clip with nowhere to plug it into. Also the intake keeps slipping off the throttle body, it's hard to keep it fully on as well as mounting it to the vibra-mount. I'll probly just have to work at that for a bit. Anyways, no check engine light or anything so I'm going to assume I did ok! thumbsup

Lookin good. The left over clip is normal. As for it sliding off the TB...make sure you get those clamps tight and that sleeve is on the body and intake a good amount.

Congrats thumbsup

i definately hear the sucking noise...i never really drive in the high RPMs that much so i think it sounds louder but not sure. anyways, it looks pimp!

i had to backtrack and redo so many things a photo guide to the install just didn't happen, but my commentary is here

Injen Install [groups.msn.com]

if anyone has any questions about the Short Ram install, drop me a PM...the instructions were shit but you end up doing the only thing that works and it turns out to be right! thumbsup

It looks like from the 2nd pic that your intake is not all the way in the sleeve to the TB. The clamp on the right looks like it's not on the intake. Just loosen the clamp and slide the intake into the sleeve more and clamp it down good and then attach the vibra mount. I have no engine skills and the instructions did suck. This 20 minute install took me almost 2 hours. I found out after the fact that Overboost.com has a great install guide for the intake.

I'm gonna take your little Civic. Dust it off. Turn it sideways and stick it straight up you candy A*s.
