ok i sorta fell in love w/ these things.. i went to the shop that did my kit and they said it would be about $250-300 a fender... does that seem a litte pricey?

yea pretty much.. install + painting.. my usual guy wasn't there but i would hope that includes blending..

That's alot. My NSX Ducts,install, and blending was cheaper than that. PICS COMING SOON!!!

Was that $199 shipped for both fenders, or was it $199 for each fender? If that was the total cost for both fenders, that would mean that the body shop would be charging you around $300 - $400 for the paint/install. A little steep IMO.

Maybe, but everyone has to remember we all live in different parts of the US so a good price down south will be different from a good price up north.

Ricepowered is right, I know things are cheaper here in VA and FL
$199.00 for both fenders.

see now nobody is in NY... Darren ur in jersey so you said it was good.. guess it varries like everything else.. when i first got my kit everyone said like 500-800 paint and install but i paid 1100 and that was one of my lowest quotes.. and yea it was 250-300 a fender... 02KaminariGT wanna roommate for a few days...it'll be cheaper for me to drive down there and get it done.. grin

Well the x-1 fenders are fibergalss so a GOOD bodyshop should

Sand and finished the fenders
glazed them to remove all pinholes and imperfections
test fit
make adjustments where nessacary
paint both sides
install
blend and clear coat outer side




I would say no more than 500 for both.

im afraid to get them and then i have to pay too much for the install.. guess i better save a litte xtra cash... nobody is gonna give me a good quote w/o the fenders to show them..
