i know a friend of mine, told me that when he had his neons installed professionaly last month, he had them custom build him some plexiglass covers to fit around the tubes, to try to protect it from debris under the car, it added him 250 more then what he charged, i was thinkning that i can just put them on myself and then have the same people put on the plexiglass, it sounds like a nice idea, any ideas on yes or no!!

hmmmm, neon lights are already protected, its a flourescent lamp inside a plastic tubing...

So not worth the extra $250 dude. Don't even worry about scratches/cuts etc. I've had mine for a while and they're fine just the way they are.
