not getting them...this is what my co-worker said
"cross drilled rotors will crack under heavy use unless they are cast with the holes, like porsche and ferarri.
almost all those aftermarked ones are drilled, and they ALL crack. everyone that I know that has tried them on the track has cracked them.
just get regular or the slotted ones. those are good."
and he races cars semi-pro so i should take his word for it...

Yea, Go with the reputable companies when it comes to things that concern safety. Does Brembo Cast there Disks with the holes drilled.

here's more info "the idea is that they vent gasses that are built up during braking by pad friction. In the "old" days, brake pads used to gas a lot more, and sometimes during hard braking, a layer of gas could form between the pad and rotor and decrease braking distance. modern day pads don't gas like the old ones, so they are really not needed. if you just use them on the street, they will probably be okay. But don't expect them to make you stop quicker, they are just supposed to vent brake pad gasses.. If you want to impove your braking, get some aftermarket pads with a higher friction coefficient. $75 for both is an okay price... although I just get oem rotors for $23 a piece.. ^_^" it's news to me...

ct I have them on my car and I auto-X (hard) with them and I've had no problems if you get them I suggest you paint the hat's on them because they will rust.

Oh prolly 6 months or so $75 is a great price for those I reccomend them and if you do decide to get them also get new pads.

Heat dispersion, I had a big problem with the ABS kickin in while under hard brakin on the track and now I hardly get it at all.
There is one drawback though and that is they cant be resurfaced so's you better keep an eye on brake pad wear.

well actually if there manufacturer really is Brembo, i would say get them because Brembo is a VERY reputable company, i would think that the rotors are casted with the holes, and not drilled. the post-drilled rotors do crack, but Brembo is a company that knows what they are doing, and would not put their name on crap products. for $75 i'd get them, if stocks are $23 each then thats $46 for both, that guy is asking $75 for both, thats a difference of only $29, i'd say go for it, but do some research on them because i may not be accurate.

warranty against what?
any product made for racing and are wearing items will generally not have a warranty, given the specefic application they are designed for, and the conditions they are to be put into. and a good brake specialist CAN turn cross drilled brakes, i have done it

would be cool if there were HUGE rotors for the celica, like the ones seen on the enzo ferrari
