I just ordered the GReddy Evo-2, and I was wondering how the Evo was. I didn't see any reviews in the exhaust thing at the top.

Anybody have this? Can you tell me how easy it is to install and how it sounds, and the hp gains???

Thanks in advance!!! grin

Greddy Evo 2???
i had the original Greddy Evo.. for the gts.. i was very dissapointed.. heaviest exhaust system out there from what i know & it was very quiet. the only good things i thought.. is Greddy's appearance & fitment. all i had to remove was 1 tow hanger from the passenger side rear. if you have pics of the Evo 2.. please post them.

I finally got my exhuast! goodjob

I put it on, and I'm gonna post some pics as soon as I figure out how to make them smaller. spineyes My tires kept slipping on the dyno so I couldn't get a good reading after we put it on, but I'm gonna try again next week. So I'll let you know.

EvanJ, thanks for posting my pics! grin wave

Yeah, I got gas since then. rofl I've been trying to put 94 in, but the only station that has that around here is Sunoco, and there not even right in my area. frown

I really like the exhaust. grin The dyno picture was from the first run, before the exhaust, the tires kept slipping on the one after, so we're gonna try it again some time.

Its got a nice tone to it. It doesn't sound ricey at all. Its just a little bit louder than the stock, but its a little lower to. Sounds really good between 5-7 rpms.

I'm very happy with the overall look and sound of it. thumbsup thumbsup

i dont think there is a GREddy Evo 2.. just a regular Greddy Evo.. because thats basically the same Evo i had on my GTS.. except yours is a full stainless steel.. mine had some kinda clay colored coating up to the back of the canister.. a few months back that i sold.. because 1- it is the most heaviest or close to the heaviest exhaust systems made for a celica.. i think like 36 lbs.. and also very very Quiet.. just like stock.. and Greddy is known for keeping their sound to under 95 decibals. thats why i opted for the Tanabe Super Racing Spec. But hey i must admit.. the Greddy does look nice on the celica.. monster tip size is intimidating lol

I took a picture of the receipt that says GReddy EVO 2 on it, I'll have to send it to somebody to shrink it and post it. But I'm sure thats what makes it the 2, is everything is all stainless steel.

I like that it doesn't sound too loud...I was mostly looking for performance. But I don't know yet, still haven't gotten back on the dyno.

The tip is sooo big. I didn't think it was gonna fit in the cut-out as I as putting it on. LOL But it did, barely. happywink

make sure you have enough clearance, don't want to melt your bumper wave

I think just enough to get some cool air in.

You don't need much, but it's its rubbing or touching, it will scald it.

well, I'm not sure about a centimeter, that's awfully close.

maybe like 1/4 inch would be safe confused
