Does anyone know of the best navigation system to get? I hear Pioneer makes a killer system. I just don't know which one.

Gorman makes good stuff. You can remove some of their products and walk around with them. It's a monitor and GPS that sits up on your dash with beanbags.
If you want something more integrated, get an Alpine LCD head unit and the Alpine DVD GPS system. You can get an Alpine LCD head unit from $700 on up and the navigation system for $1200 frown. I'm sure other companies make good products too.
Please note that you can get a GPS system that interfaces with a computer (such as a laptop that you can bring along) over the USB port for only $80. Hope this helps.

I'd say go with an in car computer and get Copilot GPS software probably the best navigation software out there.

Also have the ability to play MP3s, DVDs, and other fun toys.

Check E-Bay. Pioneer looks the best NAV.SIS. they sell there. With LCD screen it will cost you $1.800.00(TV,DVD,MP3). W/o LCD $800.00
I think it's better buy just a NAV sistem with DVD,TV,MP3 than buy all this items separately.
P.S.I Drove 350Z with Navigation system... oh..man...350z's NAV. is GOOOD.($2000.00)

I plan on putting an in car computer when I upgrade to a Z next year over the stock nav system. Why? Because I get a superior nav software (voice commands etc..), touch screen 7 inch monitor, DVD Movies, ability to play a large amount of music and not having to bother with cds, satelite radio through the computer and you can use programs to search stations for a band you want and automatically record those songs, and also the ability to have a bunch of other fun toys such as software to diagnose your engine etc.

I just don't see the point in shelling out lots of money for a nav system when I can get a nav system and more for cheaper.
