I cant put the stick into first gear until the car is completely stop. Is this normal???

Unfortunetly. I don't know what it means, but it is normal. Perhaps to prevent over revving and mis-shifting.

u can put it into first as long as your going UNDER 15 mph. you have to have the clutch all the way in and it takes a little more effort.

The reason that you cant put the shifter in first is because the transmission is spinning so fast in first gear that the syncro is unable to syncronize it.

i can put in first as long as it is under 20 mph

Thanx guys! I thought my tranny had a problem because they just do some warranty work on the gear..anyway, i'm clear now. Thanx again
