Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior installing MTECs

Ok I purchased the MTEC high beams for my celica, but I can't install them. I have the factory HID's, so there is like a black cover over those lights, like a small dome, and there is no way you can reach the high beams. Has anyone installed these with the factory HID's? How canI do it or do I need to take it to Toyota? Thanks.

That sounds like a lot of work! So that means your bumper too? I would probably rather Toyota to do that..

If you have HID's why are you worried about the highbeams. Plus I think you will ruin the look of the housings with blue bulbs, they will make the whole housing look blue.

Yeah, why are you trying to change the bulbs if you have HID??
