I got into a little accident with a my car a few weeks back. I bent a few suspension pieces and had them replaced. But, since the accident my check engine light has been on. I have a cel of p1692. I posted a tread and a few ppl told me that it could be that my oil was low or needed changing. I check it out and i was down a quart and it was dirty as hell. I got and oil change but i haven't yet reset my ecu yet. On the way back from the oil place i tried to hit lift and i did but it couldn't go past 7k rmp. I reminded me of when i got my air filter wet. Any1 got any ideas???

reset your ecu, if the cel stays off great ... if not, go to the dealer.

was the engined warmed up?

If the heat needle isn't at the half way mark, the engine will not revv past 7K RPM

It's almost like a revv limiter is there, it's weird.
