right under your throttle body on the engine is a little port where the butterfly was connected to with a pipe. Right next to the black intake manifold, or if you have a gts, silver maifold i think. This rubber pipe is no longer needed, and if you look, you'll see something sticking out right there, that is where it goes. try the installation section and they should have a pic of it.

If the vaccuum switch your referring to is the one for the butterfly, you don't need to connect that to anything anymore, just tierap it to something, if its not this, let me know, i'll give you some more help.

wait, i know what your talking about now, sorry, on the side of the intake there should be a piece of metal sticking out for no reason, this is where you mount it, and the kit should have came with a bolt to put here. If not, i'm sure you can find a way to mount it on there, i forget how mine worked out, but thats where it goes.

It comes on after i slam down the pedal hard a few times. Theres a problem with the vaccuum i think, might be a leak or a line collapsing on itself, i'm gonna take it again to have a pro look at it, but we'll see, could just be a defective intake, who knows at the moment. I do know what i shouldn't do and i know exactly what the problem is so its ok. I actually lose power though when the pedal hits the floor, can only hit the pedal down maybe 85-90% before this happens, doesn't matter at what rpm either.

I've checked the install countless times, and even had a tech look at the install. Its done right, just have to figure out the problem now. Thanks for the suggestion though, but its been going on a few months now.

There are a few things that you can do to save yourself some $$$ before you take it to a pro.
1) Disconect you battery for a few minutes.
2) Make sure that all your hoses are on all the way.
3) Check to see if you MAF sensor is clean.
4) Check your zip ties and make sure that they are not too tight around the hoses.

I'm gonna take your little Civic. Dust it off. Turn it sideways and stick it straight up you candy A*s.
