hey i read that you can recalibrate you speedo by drving with a friend in a car next to you telling you his speed and you manually doing it while driving. is this possible or will the needle have to much force behind it. I tried recalibrating it the way the directions on the site said but its not working im driving 8 miles slower than it reads.

no it wont work. do yuou have bigger rims?...if so you can get diagnostic plugins that tell you ecu you rim size and that will recalibrate the speedo.

how is it 8mph off if you have the stock wheels and tires? did you like tweak it when you were putting on gauge overlays or something?

i have the same problem. When i put my gauges on, i did it right, but when i took them off, i was a dumb ass and was messing with the needle. Mine is about 5 mph off at 65 mph, but when i get up to like 100 mph, its about 10 mph off. I need some help. Should i take it back to a dealer?

yup like a idiot i had "prof" install my gauges along with other mods, which burned and according to isaac it was their fault, who knows , but i do know that they didnt recalibrate my speedo to correct speed so in reality they screwed me over twice. now i am drving slower than it reads
