i dunno some guy s seeling the kit...saying that he got the 15 acutally kits from veilside...i dunno

i wann get one but...this is from newcelica.org

As many of you already know, Veilside is releasing a new body kit called the FF GT. This kit, like their other Celica kit, is made of hand-laid fiberglass, but the price is cheaper than their EC-I kit.

MSRP is as follows:
Front Bumper: $480.00
Side Skirt Pair: $400.00
Rear Bumper: $480.00
Hood: $480.00

Here's the scoop on this kit: Veilside is getting in exactly 15 front bumpers, 15 side skirt sets, & 15 rear bumpers on their November container (ETA is 1st week of November). They are not getting in any hoods yet and there is no current ETA on them unfortunately. Japan has not gone into production on the hoods so the absolute earliest we would see them is December, and I can't say with any certainty that we'll have them then either.

MVP Motorsports has made a purchase agreement with Veilside USA, and we will be receiving ALL 15 of the kits here when they show up in November. No other company in North America will have access to this kit until their next shipment in January of 2004.

We have arranged a special price for anyone who wants to pre-order the kit or specific pieces from the kit. Once we receive the kits here in the USA (if we have any left) the price will go up for those that have not pre-ordered.

Here is our one-time special pricing. We will never sell this kit this cheap ever again! We may increase the below costs as we come closer to selling out.
Front Bumper: $409
Side Skirt Pair: $341
Rear Bumper: $409
Hood: $409
Wing in Fiberglass: $439
Wing in Carbon Fiber: $567 - We have several of these wings in stock now for immediate delivery.

If you want to be 1 of 15 Celicas with this kit on your car this year then pre-order now, don't wait! No one else can offer you this kit this year and certainly not at such a deep discount - you never see Veilside parts this cheap!

We are taking pre-orders on the hood now too, we just can't guarantee a delivery date. I know that's not the greatest news, but think about it - if you are willing to pre-order now you can be the first person in North America with this hood and kit.

If anyone has any questions please post here, call me at 817-439-4888 x14, or e-mail dusty@mvpmotorsports.com
You can order securely online 24/7 or call us from 10am to 7pm CST M-F.

Thanks,

Dusty

Please do NOT support companies that rip-off bodykits, produce replica (counterfeit)...

Top manufactures such as Veilside; spend many hours and hours and hours of work on the concept, design, quality production with superb fitment and then advertising of their extremely high quality products.

You would hate it if you had invested $20,000 to $50,000 on a high quality body kit production - and about a week after its been released, some schmuck duplicates the product for $200 and sells it for fraction of the cost that you had just invested into the design & production.

If you were Veilside and saw people asking for replica/counterfeit copies of your design and telling everyone to not support the you, the designer... How much longer would you support that community? You wouldnt... you would stop producing body kits for the Toyota Celica rolleyes

Have you ever wondered why they havent produced a body kit for the 7th Gen Honda Civic? NOW YOU KNOW wave

Well, seeing how I am in the market for a VS 2 front and possibly the sides... what do you guys think of this on eBay? Read the sellers feedback. Someone already bought one and claimed it was great. I don't know what to think. MVP Motorsports said they bought them all, but here's 2 from eBay. I think it's too soon to be a replica. Just throwing this out there.

Please note: None of the FF GT Series pieces are in stock. Their estimated time of arrival is November/December. This is a special introductory price and it will go up when the kits are closer to arriving.

then what are they selling to you in the auction ???

Yeah, so what the hell is going on here? The person selling this on eBay contacted me and they do have one satisfied buyer. I don't know what the hell to do. I really want this front end. I'm nearly to the point of saying FUCK IT and just getting another Blitz.

As confirmed by two emails, it is a Replica... SO SOON?!?!?
The seller sent me one when I asked her to show a pic with Veilside badges, like Isaac said. Then, Dusty from MVP Motorsports told me to contact Veilside. He claims that they are trying to get the auction removed. I feel like I'm a jr. detective. Do I get a free VS 2 kit? Yeah, right.

I wonder if the price for the original veilside will go down after the new one is released. That would be pimp.

I have a replica veilside and its damn near as good as the real thing. People ask, why get the replica? Because its hundred of dollars cheaper for basically the same thing. If you don't want someone ripping off your product then don't sell it for such high prices. I know a lot of money goes into producing a body kit from scratch but as a consumer i'm always looking for the good deals and when i can get a replica that is basically the same thing for 1000 dollars cheaper then thats what im doing. Not to say I promote this stuff but I'm joe schmoo. On top of that, do companies like veilside put patents on their body kit designs? Wouldn't that make it hard for other companies to make knockoffs? I don't promote this type of stuff but at the same time im a smart consumer. Sorry to go against the grain but thats my view.

Replicas are for people who don't care and would rather get the kit right away, rather than wait and save the money.

what you pay for is what you get...
VS is expensive, but are you really going to changed the bodykit?
And for what it is made out of and the design, it's worth the money.
I hate replica's...

This coming from someone with a Blitz front end. Wait! Blitz doesn't make a kit for the Celica! Go figure. And right off the bat I care about my car. I don't worship it like some people but i take pride in it. I've seen my replica unpainted right next to the real deal and there was virtually no difference. The only real difference I found was I had a thousand dollars in my pocket and the other guy had a couple lint balls in his.

what you said has no effect on the blitz...

I am generally speaking of a nice REAL kit, such as veilside, then having a stupid replica.

the Blitz isn't even real, it's fake...there is no such thing as a real blitz front bumper, so that cannot even apply to what I am saying. I hate replica's, yes I have one ONLY because it's the ONLY thing they make retard.

people can buy what they want for their car...but if it doesn't fit, I bet they and you know why. angry

anyways guys, calm down, both of you!

ok, the reason i have a replica is because the performance shop here have a hard time communicating with shops back there for genuine Veilside bodykit, some of them dont really ship world wide, if this was possible, i shouldve got a genuine veilside kit right now on my car thumbsup

i respect anyone that puts up the money for an authentic kit. but you really have to think about the application of the car. for a daily driver the option may be to buy a replica. reason: so that during the daily drive you wont worry about rock chips and other things that may happen. now for those that have put the time and money to buy an authentic for a daily drive vehicle either know that they can afford another kit or have no problem with the road conditions.

i have a replica kit for this reason. my car is a daily drive car. there have been certain occations where i am glad that i bought it. i really want the VS 2 kit. but more for shows that i do. but for right now my replica kit will suffice. i know that if i had the authentic kit messed up on the freeway buy some truck throwing rocks or anything else that may happen, i would be pissed off.

but i have nothing against people with authentic or replica kits. but not everyone will agree so i just add my 2 cents.
