Thats what happen to me when I had my 600w and 2 (12's)..if your gonna run 2 (12's) I think you need atleast a 1000-1200w amp. I dont know anything about Lightning Audio... but I was runnin a 600x2 Kenwood amp and 1 12' Rickford and it actually hit pretty good. (obviously not compation hard) I would just wait till you can afford a bigger amp and another sub. or get a different sub. and an amp later or get a bigger amp and a sub later...

It could be the amp or the sub ... first off:

What your sub rated at ??

For example: 400W RMS / 800W Peak @ 4 Ohms

What the amp rated at ??

For example: 600W x 1 @ 2 Ohms

This will help us tell you. grin
