Guys, what do you think of this stereo set-up? Pioneer DEH-P8500MP, Rockford 1500 amplifier, Rockford PUNCH HE2 10 subwoofer w/400watts/ 800max, 4 Rockford PUNCH 6.5 full range speaker, and Dynamat the whole car. Here is pix|https://celicahobby.com/gal3/uploads/DSC01055 I can't wait to install it. So is this a good set-up??? thumbsdown or thumbsup

How difficult is it to put a new cd player in there I mean will it look stock and all that jazz or do you have to buy and put in one of those damn adapter dash kits to make it fit. I hate those things. I like to keep it all looking seamless. Any thoughts? idunno

Well, I think they have to get the adapter dash kits to get it to fix. But they have color that match with your dash, I think. Ill post pix after everything is install. All of this stuffs cost me a little over $1,700 w/ everything insure. I think it worth the investment since I love to listen to loud music in my car. Im thinking about getting a pioneer LCD screen and a dvd player though. But as for right now Im satisfied.

Spunds great! Thats A Beautiful Deck, and some great subs. my suggestion to you (assuming when you say rockford 1500 amp you mean the 501x) is that you power ONLY the the four speakers in the car w/it. the common mis-conception is that rockford amps are great sub amps, when in fact they are better speaker amps. i would add a kicker amp to that list, or you could get the audiobahn 6 channel to run the whole system, it is by far the best amp i have ever heard, little spendy, but worth it. circuit city just started delling them, don't know the model number but it is really the only 6 channel around. DYNAMAT IS WELL WORTH THE INVESTEMENT! don't let anyone else to you any different.

Yes but for us Racers out there, Dynamat is not an option, it weighs down the car, just enough, that IS if you do the WHOLE car, but if you do just like your doors and trunk, it's worth it, if you do it yourself, paying circut city to do a half-assed job isn't worth your money, they suck on installs, straight up.

Guys, I just got my car back from the installation base and damn those Subwoofer ROCK. I already dynamat my 2 door and got plenty of dynamat left for the trunk and the rear speaker. As for weight concern, well, the sub is real heavy already add some dynamat will not make any difference. As for 6 channel, I think its a good idea, but my door handle rattle too much. Im satisfied now|.next mod..body kits.
