Some questions about HID?

When you guys were installing the HID,did you replace your High Beams, which is daytime light? Is it 9005 HALOGEN Bulbs? How could I make my HID like those BMWs' in the daytime? Thanks a lot!

First of all, welcome to ecelica..

All I can say is if you want your beams to match your HID's, purchase the Mtec Bulbs from the ecelica store..Yes, from stock you will have to change your DRL to match your HID's... Hope this helps... thumbsup

H7 for low beam, and i think that's wut you wanted...
MTECs are not HID, they are HID look-a-like..they are around 4000K or 4200K

Your High beam/DRL is 9005. You can buy the MTEC bulbs, which would give you a bit whiter look than stock. There is no way to have the 9005 match your real HID's. The only way is to buy real HID for 9005. But, IMO real HID for highbeam/DRL is a waste of money becaue you're buying it for the look.

I just installed the Mcculloch HID kit for the lowbeam. I just turn it on during the day. laughsilly
