I'm a noob when it comes to systems so could I hook subs and an amp up to my stock stereo? Is there anything I need to buy to do this?

yes you can...you will need to get an rca converter so you will have a audio signal running to your amp. Or you could splice the signal off your rear speakers (i do not recommend).

why not buy car stereo first?your stock wont take your subs and amps pretty much sooner or later it will damage your car stock stereo...

Where can I buy the rca converter...Best Buy? Also, money is really tight right now so getting a new head unit is not an option. frown

i have a bazooka bass tube connected to the stock rear speakers, with the built in amp. does not take a lot of space, is easily removeable, and pretty light.

10.7157 @ 131.31 on my bike
