im personally not a fan of angled exhausts myself. but i have seen some really madd cars that have pulled off the look really well! so depends if you pull it off well i guess

Having an angled exhaust isn't ment to cater to visual preference. The whole concept behind the angled exhaust is to reduce bends in the exhaust pipe, which will result in a more freely flowing exhaust system and greater HP gains.
i like angled exhausts too. but in order for it to work there needs to be a really large exhaust cutout on the car wich the stock celica dosent have. a problem easily enough solved with $$$
a kid told me that celicas handle like crap... i laughed
Finally someone who's familiar with performance aspects of tuning rather than appearance! Nicely said Cham, I agree with you 100%

Now you can cut .000001 seconds off your 1/4 mile. I think the benifit is so insignificant in a four banger and for that matter any car. just my two cents. COSMETIC MOD!!!

Always
EDITED by Steven: i accidently edited your post thinking it was mine, i just corrected a grammatical error i found in my post
yea, go for it. it looks a lot better than straight ones, and as they said, its not only for looks but for performance also. however, i think the muffler needs to look like a apexi N1 to look the best when slanted.
Well, yes, the angled exhaust reduces backpressure, and upt the HP a bit, but our engines can't afford to lose too much backpressure. We need the torque!
If you were running a turbo or something, then yes, it'd help, but on a N/A celica, it wouldn't do much for performance.
Looks cool tho. I'll admit that.
A nice, free flowing mandrel bent exhaust would free up more than enough HP, the angled setups are good if you have enough mods to warrant the added flow.
