Ok, I've got a carbon fiber hood on my celica along with the veilside kit. Want I want is some kind of overlay that goes in that little hole where that toyota emblem is. Anyone have any ideas?

wait one more week and you'll be able to pickup something amazing for the trunk garnish... much better than a fill-in graphic for the 'celica' logo thumbsup

APR's detail will be posted at the beginning of next week

ok...I reread what he said...
I have no idea what he is talking about...
because...for one thing, the rear part does not have a toyota emblem on it...
and the front is not a little hole and how would an overlay go in there? LOL...I am confused! confused confused

I think hes talking about where the toyota logo went at the top of the front bumper. You can put a plate of carbon fiber from behind the bumper like most people do with mesh. And cold this mystery rear piece be a carbonfiber hatchlift that has celica embossed in it. I saw one on the red dragon celica that was on the cover of SS a year ago but could never find it.

is there something special I should know about my car ??? I've taken apart my trunk several times and there is nothing there except a lock with a single cord that goes to the latch... nothing else - and im sure that several others also have this exact same setup wave

Whenever I open my car with keyless entry kit or my class-3 alarm, it unlocks up te trunk too, also locks it offcourse smile

Is the keyless entry kit w/ remote not a standard feature on us celi's?

I'd rather see a shaved hatch like the the red celica from Satoshi's friend than this, but hey that's just me smile

not everyone has a keyless entry system...
if they don't and have the Carbon Fiber piece, they are going to have to unlock the doors, then go inside and hit the unlock button if they have power locks...
if not, then they can't get it...

I guess you right. My bad. Boy I feel dumb. I guess since I never use it, I don't notice it. Yes, I use the keyless entry remote.

not everyone has keyless entry, so if isaac got that latch kit thing, you couldn't lock or unlock his trunk because he doesn't have keyless... feel sorry for you man thumbsdown

If you use the key in the drivers door and turn it once it unlocks the drivers door...turn it again and it unlocks the passenger door as well as the hatch...and you can also lock both doors as well as the hatch from the drivers door as well. I have an aftermarket alarm so possibly that has something to do with it but I dont think so...I cant remember what it did before I put my alarm in...so someone go outside and check it out.

uh... power locks must be great - but again, that was an option and not everyone has power locks wave

sun roof is also an option, and not everyone has a sun roof either...

power windows was an option and not everyone has a sun roof either...

and...

alarm system was an option and not everyone has an alarm system - at least I have an alarm system, a balance locking system, a fuel cut-off system and a power-killer system... but most of that was all aftermarket thumbsup

power locks with keyless entry are great - but if you know anything about sending signal switching components - you can pretty much get into anyone's car just by driving by slowly and waiting to hear the noise of an alarm system being turned off as you cycle through your codes rice and this is why I prefer manual entry rice

or you just bust a window, slim jim the lock, or take out the whole door handle with a screwdriver like most car thieves.

Lol, I should check my posts more frequently. Sorry for the confusion. I've got the veilside front and I'm looking for an overlay that follows the middle hoodscoop indention down to the grill where the toyota logo goes. I have a full carbon fiber hood, so I don't need the actual hood overlay, just one that goes in that hole. It looks like a little triangle sort of.

Man i know what ur talking about because with my kit the stock toyota emblem dont fit all the way in it...so if you have piece to fit in there tell me where you got it and how much so i can go get one...

Guys in the front bumber on the kit you have ur fog lights on the outside of the grill with a center peice up above that but beofre you get to your hood...it is a hole with the toyota emblem on it... spineyes

That's it, the little part in the picture above that says veilside. I want a carbon fiber overlay kit to go in that hole. Anyone know where I could get one? At least just some carbon fiber overlay?

What would overlay that over? It's a hole. You would need something solid in behind.
