Well after my last fog lights (APC brand thumbsdown) caught on fire, I decided to get some new foglights, I actually like these ones better, they fit great and even look custom and while I had the bumper off to mount them I decided to take off the Toyota emblem. Let me know what you guys think.

here comes my problem again...i know that you have a different switch for the fogs rite? that way you can have the fogs and highs on at the same time...but how can i do that with a factory fog switch?? is it possible to have the fogs and highs on at the same time with the factory switch?

The way I have mine wired is that I have the positive (source) coming from the right headlight low beam which leads to a cut-off switch then to the fogs, that way my fogs are on with my low beams unless i cut them off w/ the switch. Now, I'm not sure how the factory stuff is set up but if it were me, I would completly undo the wiring from the fogs and the re-wire them the way you want. Good luck thumbsup

Here is a question not dealing with the topic, but why did you go with the short ram rather than the CAI ? Cause i have a brand new CAI but i was thinking of selling it and getting a short ram.

the TRD Mechanical front bumper looks it's best when...
1: the toyota emblem is not there - keep in mind that the first release of this body kit back in 2000, toyota did not have the emblem there...later on, it was added.
2: when there are fog lights filling in those huge holes...it just completes the front bumper so smoothly... grin
this kit is awesome.

fogs look perfect with that front.. if they aren't the expensive trd ones, you could've fooled me. Nice job! thumbsup

And I also think it looks good with no emblem.

I got the short Ram for a couple reason
1-You can see the whole intake whereas you can't see the entire CAI unless you look down inside the engine bay so I think it looks better

2-I heard you had to do some shaving or cutting to install the CAI which I didn't want to do

3-I didn't want to have to worry about it getting wet

4-People really haven't said that one intake is better than the other, I've heard that for the most part they are about the same

The turn signals are actually a hyper white but the bulb looks blue, I've signaled by a lot of cops and none of them have said anything

I had those for my turn signals originally and recently I switched them to titanium. The titanium turns amber when active. I like the look. Plus my dad's a detective and prefers the legal and legit ways of the law. But damn I love the fogs . Looks like the factory TRD fog lights. thumbsup
