I've read through a lot of similar situations as what I'm experiencing now. A month back my car dies randomly while driving at around 40mph. Imminently after It starts but fails to idle or rev (until I wait 15 min or so the gas pedal seems non-existant). This problem has happened now many times. I had the shop replace O2 sensor and ignition coil per the diagnostic codes, this failed to solve problem. I cleaned MAF, replaced fuel pump, filter and strainer. IDK what to do, I'm avoiding the car shop b/c of my low budget. Is it replacing the MAF sensor possibly or something else entirely?? Any ideas are appreciated. . Thanks ..JRob

Perhaps the fuel pump is dead or intermittent?
