So I got my celica gt and im trying to increase the preformance. Is it worth the swap from a 1zz to a 2zz or should I just swap out the rods and pistons of the 1zz and follow it up with a turbo kit, and intercooler. I currently have a MagnaFlow exaughst with dc headers and anot injen CAi. Also if there's a better engine that fits without refabrication thats worth the swap let me know. My current engine is at 53,000 miles so still pretty new.

What up fam? I haven't heard anything myself, but i sure one of these guys will answer you soon. In that same regard, I was searching for ITB'S for gt not the gts. I have an 04 Celica, 5spd, needs some work. Runs, but needs some love. I am also like you interested in the engine swap if there is one available, but it has to be able to take the ITB's. Let me know if you find anything out.
