This Winter, during the TON of snow we received, my rear wiper stopped working. I've been driving for 2 mos. now without the wiper, and now the Spring weather is here, it would be nice to have it working. As its warmed up, its time to fix it. The motor seems to be fine as I can hear and see it run, however, the blade arm itself is free. I haven't taken the rear hatch liner off yet so my question is: Is there a gear or linkage that commonly breaks? Plastic?? If anyone has had this same issue, please tell me what you found, and how easy was it to fix? If its something common, I'd like to order the part in prep, so I only have to have this apart for the period of time at initial disassembly, rather than apart for> week--- this car is my daily driver...
