Basically I want to tint my headlights and tail lights but I don't want to modify my original lights, in case I want to put the stock ones back on. I was looking at buying OEM replacement lights, but then found out how much they cost and quickly realized that was not worth it.
I see aftermarket head lights and tail lights for fairly reasonable prices, but are they really that great? All I really need/want is the "lens" or plastic front piece off the headlight assembly, so that I can tint it and swap out the stock one on my Celica. I figured this would be the easiest way to do it since I won't need to replace all the lights in my stock light assemblies, and it'll keep costs down (also I don't trust most aftermarket products/I want my lights to be focused and aimed properly and don't want the hassle of doing it myself - and some aftermarket tail lights are just brake lights/no turn signals which I do not like).
Any recommendations for decent quality aftermarket headlights and tail lights? Or alternatively just the plastic piece that's the front of the light assembly for both front and rear? I have a white 7gc and I think the darkened headlights will give it a nice look, along with my gunmetal colored wheels (and once I get around to doing the clear side markers too).
