Celica Forums General Discussion Engine and Performance VVTL-I MAY NOT WORKING???

Hi guys I'm new and I got a problem wif my Toyota and I hope can someone answer my question.

My one is 2004 Corolla sportvio NOT A Celica.
But is the same engine 2zzfe

the engine its bounces out of the rev limiter at 6800rpm
And can NOT go anymore.

Does anyone know what the problem is?
Is suppose can be go to 8400rpm right?
