Is there any way to remove the shift lever (automatic) without destroying it and cutting the O/D wires? If so, how?? If it is not possible, how do you remove the plastic bezel (that part that holds the P R N D label), all I'm trying to do is remove the bezel so that I can re-paint it. Taking off the shifter SEEMED to be the easy route, but not so.
