I have a 2002 Celica and yesterday the idle started fluctuating from 1000 to 2000 rpm while I was in neutral. When I turned off my car it shook a little bit, similar to a stall, and then when I tried to start it again it would start up but then die right away. From what I've been reading on this forum that might be my oxygen sensor but wanted to see if anybody else had any other input as to what the problem might be? I'm currently waiting to have my car towed to the mechanic shop which I hate doing because I feel like they have you in a bad position and might try to take you for a ride in doing the repair so I'd just like to have as much knowledge as possible before I take it in. Any insight would be much appreciated!
