Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior I hope its just me!

Last night, I took off in first. I noticed a little hesitation almost like the clutch is grabbing and then letting go for a split second. I dont think its going out..the rpm's seem ok. Also, it seems like it lost power, Like on the highway I notice going from 5th down to 4th it seems as if it lost some power. It even sounds different it seems like. I have the normal size exhaust pipe, with a glass pack...should I do something else exhaust wise?? What could this be?? I hope Im just being paranoid.

My car does that sometimes...she's been running good latley. cars have attitudes...at least mine does...maybe your was just having a bad day??

Next time you go to go somewhere, put your car in 4th and let out the clutch. If your car cuts off immediatly then your good. But if it rolls forward aways and then cuts off...your clutch is going out.

And this is just what someone told me a while ago to test my clutch...
