Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Front Bumper - interchangeable?

Hi All,

I'm new to the Forums so apologies if this has been covered previously.

Can anyone confirm whether the "early" front bumper (e.g. 2001) and the "late" (e.g. 2005/6) front bumpers are interchangeable?

I have a 2001 TSport but prefer the later bumper. Is it a direct swap.

Guidance appreciated!

The 7th Generation Toyota Celica (years 2000 - 2005) all use the same bumper attachment locations. The entire front, the entire rear, and aftermarket side skirts for this generation are also interchangeable between this same generation.

The 2001 Celica front bumper has an aftermarket lip-kit attached to it, but this does not affect the attachment of the front bumper to the body of the Celica.
