Hey guys, I recently bought a 93 Celica about 3 weeks ago. I've been working on it ever since that time since it was having revving issues, which all came down to the Temp sensor malfunctioning. I replaced a few other parts too, like the O2 sensor the fuel economy was just terrible, and I also replaced the TPS and MAP sensor. The MAP sensor had a broken stem, don't know how I even got it home.
The engine is a 5S-FE, Ex. Calif. I want to make this car my primary, so I want to make improvements on everything. The interior, body and the engine itself. So, to start, I wanted to find out if you can turbo the 5S-FE engine? If so, would there be any parts I'd have to remove and if so, what parts? My budget for the engine is $1000
I'm thinking of adding a new amp, sub, and speakers. Which would be optimal? My budget is $500.
I also want to change the look of the whole interior, meaning the appearance of the dash, seats, steering wheel and so on. What should I look into for that? Budget is $500 too.
I definitely want to get a body kit for this car, including lights. The invader style body kit looks like its right up my ally. My budget for the body kit is $500.
