Switch under my dash

i have a 2002 celica gt with action package. there is a small silver switch under the driver side dash on the right side of the steering wheel. it has wires to it and it looks factory installed. any idea what it is?

post pics i have 2000 celica GTS and i have no silver switch in the car besides what i installed.
