engine rebuild

looking to see if there is any post / website that goes through the engine rebuild process from start to finish.

I have done 5 engines to date- a 1990 range rover, and four saabs but have not done a celica

Would like to rebuild my sisters 2001 celica gt, which is burning oil.

Since it is high miles, I would consider picking up a used engine and rebuilding it, then swapping out.

No need for anything beyond just getting another engine that runs perfect.

Thanks,
Rob
