Celica Forums General Discussion Engine and Performance Radiator replacement steps Please

Hi Guys, does any buddy has steps to replace radiator. I won Celica 2004 model and its radiator is leaking coolant so mechanic suggest me to replace it. I bought one new radiator want to try myself first replacing it. I never did repair till date so it’s going to be challenging. Could anyone share step by step picture or video of replicating radiator much appreciated.

Thank CaffeineKid for the instruction. i did managed to change radiator.
But heating is not work. I toped up almost 4.5 liters of coolant.

One month back when in noticed coolant leaking I took car to garage and the mechanic added K-Seal. He told that this will seal any leak in the radiator. Eventually it started leaking again and I took car to other mechanic and he mentioned that you shouldn’t put K-Seal that will block engine and spoil the engine eventually. I am bit worried now.
I changed the radiator and added 4.5 Liters Pink coolant. And took it for a ride ,heating is not working and when I saw coolant after 5 min ride it turned in to light black which is from old K-Seal. I think K-seal is still in the engine.
Appreciated your suggestion again and if you have step by step instruction fix it .would be wonder full.

I'm guessing the best bet here is to run a radiator flush. Water flows threw all parts of engine like coolant pushing out old gunk and most of that k seal. Don't ever do that again lol. Do a shop flush and they sell a diy kit at like walmart if thay fits specs for radiator/hose fittings. Good luck and let us know!

And I'd suggest when doing the flush to top out with only water take her for a run and then flush again and refill. Do it until nothing but water comes out. Can take a clear plastic cup to see your mix.
