So I am about to do an oil change on my celica gts and am wanting to do an engine flush. I have heard that it is bad to do engine flushes on some cars because it destroys the protection film off the bearings and such. I have also heard that Toyotas are notorious for sludge build ups.
So my question is do you guys recommend engine flush additives as a way of flushing out the engine? If so, Which one? I have heard about the Bilstein Engine flush but I was hoping I could do it myself.
My celica runs great with little value chatter. It does have higher miles though 130xxx.
