I just purchased an 02 gt. It's a beautiful car with decent power stock. ( used to my 95 tercel) and I wanna get the most performance for a good price. I'm going to go with a typhoon intake within the next week and short shift but that's still only 146 hp. Would headers or exhaust be worth the $? I'm mechanically inclined but Not too into tuners. I could really use some guidence with this so im not wasting my money

How much is the typhoon going for? I decided to simply drop a K&N air filter into mine, but I'm not sure the gains were worth it. I ended up losing like 3-4mpg after the upgrade.
