okay I have a 2004 Celica gt and it has the action package and 16 inch rims off of a gt-s and I want to know what kind of exhaust I should get, im wanting a little bit of a rumble but not too loud. and I also don't want it to sound like a pissed off bumble bee. also out of curiosity what is my celica worth it has 135k miles and no mechanical issues, not even a check engine light. I bought it for 4500 and I spent about 600 dollars on getting it up to par and changing the headlights and tail lights I just wanna know if I made a good deal???

Go with TRD exhaust. It has exactly the sound/tone you've described. It's a popular exhaust and readily available.

Also, check out the Veilside Tear Drop exhaust system. Great sound. A bit on the pricey-side, but well worth it, if you can afford it.

To quickly look up new/used KBB/local prices, I've used carpoint.com (autos.msn.com) for may years:
http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/overview.aspx?year=2004&make=Toyota&model=Celica
It seems to be the easiest to navigate around.

Used car prices can fluctuate dramatically depending on where you live. A "sports car" in Canada (or northern states) is less desirable than one in SoCal -- or metropolitan Texas areas -- so, the prices may be lower there. But the Celica may be more difficult to find there... possibly making it more desirable. It all depends on the market. Check the above link and research your local values. I hope this can help

I got my '04 GT for the same price, but it didn't have Action Package or anything along those lines. That being said, I haven't regretted it. The MSN Auto's price for the car is almost $2500 above that, which sounds a little pricey if you ask me. Long story short: good deal.

As for exhausts, I was actually looking at getting a TRD myself. Biggest thing is to look around, watch as many videos as you can to get a good feel for the sound, and go from there. All the exhausts are gonna give roughly the same power gains +/- 1 whp from what I've seen, so just find the best sounding one.

That being said...this site offers no shipping costs, but they only seem to really carry Magnaflows. Check 'em out.
