I plan on buying some new wheels for my 2002 Celica soon, its currently bone stock(Planning to drop it 1.5 all around). What rims would fit best without any rubbing? 18x7.5 +38 or 17x8.25 +25/+35? Also, does anyone have real good pictures of a Celica on 17" rims?

Although many general tire shops will recommend (because it says so in their books) that you stay under 35 for 18" wheels, 225/40/18 actually works and looks a lot better and recommended more by high-end wheel & tire shops.

Here are 225/40/18 with 1.2" drop

Here are 225/45/17 with NO drop

There are a lot more photos of wheels in the gallery: https://celicahobby.com/gallery/index.php/category/wheels

Thanks for the photos man. How wide are those 18's? I've heard anything over 8" is too wide for Celicas, I'm not sure how true that is though.
