sorry for delay, but here are a few pics of a sample of what I can do. These two are very simple, but thats my preference. I can do more complex stuff if you like.

if it gets hot, put a clean sock over it. That's what i did when i had a half aluminum shift knob. Plus it will keep it nice and shiney

you'll do it when the ambient temperature is 105 and inside your car is the same surface as the sun.

of them being held down by screws?
that's why I got the TRD duracon...holy crap, is it nice...I LOVE it so much more than the MOMO...

I recommend the TRD Duracon to anyone...it's comfortable and feels great! grin grin

Nice lathe work. It would be better if you put the right tap in. I've noticed that my stock shift knob turns exactly as far as when the shift pattern becomes straight when I screw it down. Maybe you could work out exactly how many turns to put in with a blind tap. I have often broken taps off while putting threads in frown
I wonder how difficult it is to anodize something. I think you have to send it off.
