HELP!!! everytime I back Up I get a horrible smell in my car, its not clutch...it smells like a cat. converter or something. Anyone else have this problem???

are you sure it's not your clutch? i burn my clutch almost every time i back up while going up a hill.

Is it a rotten egg/sulfur like smell?
If it is, it's perfectly normal. That's just what the catalyst smells like when it's doing it job. As iky as it smells, it's actually better for that stench to be in the environment.

I had the same problem. Dealership told me to switch to premium gas. It has seemed to help. Give that a shot for awhile and see if it helps.

It's most likely the clutch.
Mine did it backing up hills...smells stank.
