I think it's time for an engine mod. I think i am going to buy aem gen 2 CAI. I was wondering should i buy that bypass valve for it now or later? And will it be easy to install for someone with minimal engine knowledge and any1 got a link to an installation guide or sumthin that helps.

I didn't think that they made the V2 for our cars. Did they just come out with it?

I just picked up an AEM CAI for my 2000 GTS and they(AEM) told me that they don't make the V2 for our cars. Just the regular Cold air model, it makes a very nice difference though, even being the first gen. The sound is awesome, and when you hit lift...boy-o-boy!! You'll love it!!!

He didnt say v2 he said gen 2. Gen 2 is the cai that works w/ the bypass valve more easily.
