Hello i am thinking about buying new rims but i do not know how big i should get them.

i am thinking about getting some xxr 526 but they only go up to 17 inches for the 5x100 bolt patterns
if i wanted 18 inch rims i would need a wheel adaptor to go from 5x100 to 5x114.3 bolt pattern.

are wheel adaptors safe? and where can i get them?

whats your opinion? should i get 17 or 18 inches for my celica gt 2002

Hey there,

the most crucial decision you should make is wether to go for optic or performance.

If you choose optic you can take just about every wheel from 17 to 19 which you think will complement your vehicle tho most. The ones you posted have a really nice design; I like them!

When talking about performance you should consider buying 17 inces max and take a look at the wheels weight. I run on 17'' OZ Superturismo WRC, one rim about 8,9 kg. If I would have had more money when I bought my wheels, I would have gone for OZ Allegerita HLT. One of these rims weights just about 6,7 kg if I remember right.

The lighter the rim, the more expensive it is. At least that's what I remember when looking for light weights. Try to check 5zigen, Rays, Work etc. There you should find enough light weigthed rims sized 18 inches and up. :-)
