are the trd side skirts suposed to be mounted on the stock plastic side skirt already on the car or do you have to take the black plastic side skirt and then install the trd side skirt.

the body kit place mounted mine onto the stock side skirts and there are gaps where the side skirt meets the front fender and along the bottom of the door sill and i dont like how they drilled 3 holes to put along the door sill to hold the side skirt in place.

any pics and help needed before i put my car in the panel shop

Hey bro, I just recently put on my TRD skirts. I had to put them over my stock sides. The drivers side skirt lined up with the pop screws, but the pass. side i had to drill new holes underneath, and put in my own bolts. I dont know about the authentic TRD sides, but the replica ones i got went over my stock sides. It might be different with authentic TRD sides. Hope this helps

why would you want to install over it when you can just utilize all the clips... & it's the simpliest thing to do. & instead of drillig through the stock sides..
