sometimes you have to drive a little to get a good price and/or good service. 50 miles doesn't sound too unreasonable if the price/service is right.

Try AA Autobody (Roy) in Van Nuys. 818 786 9668 They do okay work. $250 for Goldline springs installed. For alignment go to Tyerman's automotive (Eric) in Burbank. Drive on rack. Great customer service. $75 818 846-7291

Ryan, you're best bet would to ask someone in your car crew who has done a spring install before and do it yourself.

i was thinking about renting a spring compressor and doing it myself.

but what else would i need besides that?

id rather get it done right and by a professional - for under 200 dollars. 200 dollars is more than what the springs cost. thats insane!
